We often collaborate with the following therapists, who share our clinical values, ethical standards, and commitment to accessible care by accepting insurance. Although we have no financial or referral relationships with them, we’ve had consistently positive experiences coordinating patient care. To connect with any of them, please reach out directly through their websites.

At HeartWood Counseling & Wellness, therapy is a place to put down roots, reconnect with yourself, and create space for growth. We support adults navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, relationship patterns, and recovery from difficult experiences — including substance use and the impact of addiction.
Using trauma-informed, experiential, and whole-person approaches, therapy focuses on understanding what shaped you, building awareness, and creating meaningful change. Together, we’ll work toward feeling more grounded, connected, and empowered. We offer both in person and telehealth sessions and are in network with Maryland Medicaid, Cigna, Aetna and Carefirst.
I work with people who have been through difficult experiences, adapted in order to cope, and are ready to understand themselves in a new way. My approach is experiential and trauma-informed, focusing on creating a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship where we slow things down, explore emotions with curiosity, and build awareness of patterns that may no longer be serving you.
Together, we create space for healing, growth, and meaningful change. I support adults navigating attachment wounds, relationship challenges, codependency, people-pleasing, boundaries, self-esteem struggles, complex trauma, childhood experiences, and family-of-origin patterns.
